Sticker Stories: Healing, Humour & Hope for Cult Survivors and Mental Health Warriors

Hey Tribe,

Let's keep the conversation going around our sticker designs and the deeper meaning behind each one. These aren't just fun graphics - they're little reminders, conversation starters, and pieces of our shared journey.

Certified Cult Expert

This design was created with intention. I wanted something that felt strong and neutral - something that could sit proudly on a laptop, water bottle or mirror without feeling overly gendered. It's a quiet badge of honour for those of us who've walked through the fire and come out the other side.

Importantly, I didn't want to feed into the narrative that paints us as "vengeful backsliders". Instead, this sticker is about reclaiming our voice and showing that lived experiences holds power. It's a gentle nudge to remember we're the ones who get to lead the conversation now.

Aliens Are Nigh

This one was an absolute blast to create - lots of laughs and late-night brainstorming. The original concept started with a lone road and cartoonish UFOs, but the formatting didn't quite land the way I had envisioned, so it was time I pivoted.

Still playing with the theme of the second coming (a topic many of us were taught to fear), I leaned into the absurdity of conspiracy theories. The green splat? That's the mental gunk we were fed - beliefs, routines, and thought patterns that weren't ours to begin with. The phrase "Clean Your Mind" is a gentle reminder that we can start fresh. We get to choose what stays and what goes.

Tackle Life

This is another one that is close to my heart. It's part of our mental health awareness range and speaks to those moments when life feels overwhelming - like you're a kid again, melting down over something that seems small to others but feels massive to you.

We all have those moments. And this sticker is here to say: you're not alone. Whether it's stuck on a tackle box, a journal or your fridge, it's a little nod to the importance of co-regulation, empathy, and showing up for each other.

Plus, for the fishing lovers in our community - it's a cheeky addition that's sure to spark a few giggles.

Let's keep breaking those chains together

With love,

Lauren
